25 years of diplomatic relations with Germany - special postmark in Moldova

The Federal Republic of Germany recognized the independence of the Republic of Moldova on December 14, 1991 and diplomatic relations between the two countries were officially established on April 30, 1992.
The two countries quickly opened their respective diplomatic missions : the German Embassy in Chişinău on November 2, 1992 and the Moldovan Embassy in Bonn (then in Berlin) on March 28, 1995.
Germany is one of the main economic partners of Moldova and plays a major political role in the European integration of Moldova or for a peaceful settlement of the conflict with Transnistria.
Human ties finally link the two countries, in particular the episode marking the arrival of German settlers from 1814, after the Russian-Turkish war. The Post of Moldova had issued a stamp in 2014 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the arrival in Bessarabia of these German settlers.

On April 30, 2017, the Post of Moldova issued the 14th cancellation of the same type since the beginning of the year, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Moldova and Germany.
This postmark was officially unveiled on April 27, 2017 at the Post of Moldova's headquarters in Chişinău, in the presence of the German Ambassador to Moldova, Ulrike Knotz, and representatives of the Post of Moldova and the Moldovan Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
Thank you very much Nicolae for this envelope above (design : Lilian Iaţco, print run : 5,000) including this postmark from Chişinău (MD-2012), franked with a personalized stamp with a value of L 1.75 (2013 model, printed in sheet of 8 Stamps + central label) representing the flags with maps of the 2 countries in background!
This postmark features two cultural institutions from both countries : the main concert hall of the Berliner Philharmonie, which was inaugurated in 1963, and the Organ Hall (Sala cu Orgă) in Chișinău, located since 1974 in this classic style's building inaugurated in 1901.
In addition to its monumental organ, this building houses the Moldova National Chamber Orchestra.

Nicolae completed his postage with 2 other stamps on the back of this envelope above, in order to reach the current tariff for a priority shipment up to 20g sent to France (L 11.00 currently).
The stamp on the right (7.75 rubles and then 7.75 Leu from February 1, 2006) is part of a series of 4 stamps (design : Pál Varga), issued on July 20, 1992, depicting the same supersonic aircraft, with different colors.
The other stamp (L 2.50) is part of the EUROPA series, consisting of 3 stamps, issued on June 18, 1994, whose theme was dedicated to great discoveries. Through this series, the Post of Moldova has chosen to evoke space research and in particular the 25th anniversary of the first lunar module (Apollo 9 Mission in 1969) here.
